We are seeking a skilled Legal Manager with 5-7 years of experience, preferably in the SaaS or technology sector. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive legal support across various functions, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations while facilitating the company’s growth and innovation
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all legal matters related to the business, including contracts, compliance, and intellectual property.
- Draft, review, and negotiate various agreements, including but not limited to customer contracts, vendor agreements, and partnership contracts.
- Advice on regulatory compliance, data privacy, and cybersecurity issues relevant to SaaS operations.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement legal strategies that align with business objectives.
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support the company's initiatives and assess potential risks.
- Monitor changes in laws and regulations affecting the industry and communicate implications to relevant teams.
- Assist in the management of litigation and dispute resolution matters, coordinating with external counsel as necessary.
- Provide training and support to staff on legal policies and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- 5-7 years of legal experience, with a focus on SaaS, technology, or corporate law.
- Strong understanding of contract law and experience with technology-related agreements.
- Knowledge of data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and industry standards.
Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and external partners.
Preferred Skills:
- Previous in-house experience in a technology or SaaS company.
- Familiarity with intellectual property law and licensing agreements.
- Experience with compliance programs and risk management.
